Types and properties of Prolife Creams

In 1960 in Germany, Blemish Balm (BB) and Complexion Correction (CC) creams were released to the market as a change in the structure of skin protection creams. After several decades, the protocol for production of this type of cream became popular all around the world.

Prolife creams contain organic compounds and are suitable for all skin types. This is a chemical-free product, without any petroleum jelly, paraben and paraffin and natural materials such as sweet almond oil, beeswax, honey and plant growth regulators, and ethanol have been replacing with these chemicals.

Why it is important to moisturize the skin?

More than half of people have oily skin, and sometimes sensitive in which geographical factors such as environmental pollution and smoking exacerbate dryness and skin cracking. To prevent and eliminate this problem, people should use skin cream moisturizers with high durability.

Specialized Prolife Creams are dual approach, which are stimulating the production of elastin increase and strengthen of the supportive collagen fibers considering the consumer's age and can meet the needs of long-term moisturize of the skin.

Specialized creams “BB, CC and DD” are creamsof eachhas a particular duty as following:

BB cream with water supply properties and preventing wrinkles of the skin.

CC cream with moisturizing, lightening, integration, and recreation properties for the skin.

DD cream produced the same as CC creammore with regenerative properties of the skin.

BB Prolife Cream:

Strengthen skin elasticity, stimulates the production of elastin and increases the activity of regulatory genes simultaneously, activates the nuclear receptor of retinoic acid.

Effecting ingredients in BB Prolife cream:

Retinoic acid: retinoic acid in BB prolife cream is to remove many of the complications of aging such as sagging skin, wrinkles, etc. Moreover, retinoic acid in the cream increases collagen production and effectively stimulates the improvement of the cellular matrix of the skin. Reducing the amount of collagen due to aging and environmental factors that causes premature aging of the skin. Compounds with retinoic acid in the BB Prolife creams will prevent these problems.

Hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic acid is an organic compound called hyaluronic polysaccharide, and this compound is known with the enzyme manufacturer that is hyaluronan.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in the human body as a polysaccharide found in large quantities in the space among the skin and it fills in the space between collagen and elastin fibers to produce moisture, strengthen and tenderness of the skin. The duties of hyaluronic acid in the skin include:

Creating mechanisms to carry essential nutrients from the bloodstream into the cells of the skin, skin water supply with the mechanism of combining with water molecules and protecting the skin against mechanical and chemical damage.

Urea, Sodium Hyaluronate, Alanson and Fructose: the difference in combinations of these materials compared to other moisturizing ingredients is the long-term preservation of the materials which cause moisturizing of the skin last 48 hours. Effectiveness of these compounds on the skin includes:

Preventing from skin drying and cracking, rapid water supply to the skin, and then your skin becomes more flexible and fresh.

CC Prolife Cream:

The cream is rich in skin’s required antioxidants and removes the black spots on the skin with the steady increase in production and moisturizing the skin hyaluronate which - in addition to keeping the skin humid which is a very important factor for happiness and health of the skin – it makes the skin surface more unified.

Ingredients in the CC prolife cream:

Bisabolol FX: Bisabolol FX in CC prolife causes reduction in melanin content in the skin, increase in the rate of skin transparency, and also causes skin irritation to berecovered quickly, and makes the transparency of the skin more stable.

Vitamin E: Antioxidant cause skin rejuvenated and at the same time reduce the signs of aging. However, all of them cannot have anti-aging effects. The most important anti-aging antioxidant properties is vitamin E. Vitamin E has benefits including:

Vitamin E makes the hydrolipidic thin layer more resistant and maintains its moisture. It also stimulates the cells of blood vessels, increasing the blood flow into the arteries under the skin and in another words, it increases the blood flow under the skin.

Why Vaseline, Paraffin and Paraben have removed from cosmetic products of Prolife?

Vaseline and Paraffin:

One of the commercially problematic additives in the production of skin care products is a byproduct of crude oil that is used as an emollient. This productis called petroleum jelly, Vaseline or liquid paraffin. Althoughuse of Vaseline moisturizes the skin, it prevents the skin from breathing and causes closure of the pores and stops disposals of the skin materials. The Vaseline disrupts your natural skin moisturizing system, and eventually leads to cracked and dry skin. Continued use can cause skin reactions, such as acne and dermatitis. Therefore, the use of oil and its byproducts in cosmetics and is prohibited by the Europe Union.

Vaseline and Paraffin alternatives are mixture of herbal waxand natural oil such as sweet almond oil. Sweet almond oil is used in many cosmetic products, especially the oil plays a very effective role in skin nutrition and hydration.

Sweet almond oil contains vitamins B1, B2, B6, A and E, all of which are helpful for healthy skin. This oil is easily absorbed and makes the skin moist. Ideal for dry skin and sensitive skin against the harmful rays of the sun and protects and repairs the skin cells.

Vitamin E in the sweet almond oil eliminatesdarknessunder the eyes, effectively repairs lines of wrinkles and skin spots and rejuvenates your skin.

Paraben:

Paraben are the most common preservatives. Preservative refers to materials that are used in the formulation of a food product or pharmaceutical product to preserve the microbial contamination of the product during the storage and during the use of it.

In 1952 the US Environmental agency institutions and European Union cosmetic regulation issued the permission of using parabens in cosmetic products at concentrations of 0.8 percent. But recent studies have found evidence of the relationship between parabens and breast cancer and the widespread use of these materials is discussed. In a study conducted in 2004, parabens have been found in small quantities in breast cancer tumors. With regard to these substances that have estrogen-like structures, the incidence of this complication is possible. However, numerous reports have been published of immediate allergic reactions of type 1 such as hives and delayed allergic reactions of type 4 such as contact dermatitis using Paraben on very sensitive and damaged skins.

International Association of Cancer and American Cancer Society believe that parabens as preservatives enter into the bloodstream or accumulate in breast tissue and stimulate the production of estrogen promoting the growth of breast cancer cells.

The natural alternative product for Paraben is phenoxyethanol, which can cause problems with minimal side effects and be a very good alternative to other preservatives. That is why United States of America, Europe and Japan have recommended the substitution of phenoxyethanol with Paraben and other preservatives.

Skin Structure:

Forming layers of the skin:

Skin is the largest organ in the body which is considered as the first line of defense against the attack of external destructive factors. The skin is made up of several layers:

Epidermis layer:

This is the most superficial layer of the skin and consists mostly of dead cells. This layer contains pigment cells (melanocytes) and increase of the volume and the number of them can cause the stain to be appeared.

Dermis layer:

Lies under the epidermis layer. The most important part of the skin layer that contains blood vessels, nerve endings and glands. The Dermis layer duty is to maintain water, stiffness and elasticity of the skin.

Dermis layer consists of three layers:

  • Protein fibers that are responsible for skin firmness.
  • Protein elastin fibers, which make the skin more elastic.
  • Gel-like material that maintain the skin’s water and is rich in essential sugars (polysaccharides).

Put simply, skin structure is a wooden building and each component makes a part of the building. Epidermis layer is the roof of the building, and the Dermis layer is the foundation. Collagen and elastin are vertical and horizontal beams that reinforce the structure.

Hypodermis Layer:

Hypodermis is the third and the last layer of the skin that connects the skin to the muscle tissue. This layer, due to the abundance of fat cells, has the elasticity properties and acts as a bumper (exactly as the springs in a vehicle). The elasticity of this layer plays an important role in maintaining blood vessels and nerve endings.

Skin wrinkle:

Do you know why your skin is wrinkled?

The aging process of the skin begins from the inside. Wrinkles are caused by abnormalities in the structure of the dermis layer. In fact, it may wrinkle in the lower layer (dermis) of the skin and do not appear for years. When the collagen and elastin in the skin is broken and the amount of them are reduced, the skin will be gradually wrinkled, as the columns of a building destroyed, the building roof collapses.

What factors accelerate aging of the skin?

Internal factors:

  • Genetics
  • Hormones (especially in women)

External factors:

  • Sunlight
  • Stress
  • Insomnia
  • Alcohol
  • Cigarette Smoke
  • Air pollution

The most important cause of wrinkles after internal factors is sunlight. External factors lead to the creation of free radicals in the skin.

Do you know what free radical is, and what it looks like?

Free radicals are particles created by the impact of external factors on the skin.

The particles invade the dermis layer of the skin and they can destroy components of the skin. In simple terms, free radicals can be equated to the termites that destroy the columns and the roof of the building slowly and continuously. The problem does not appear to you but over time will collapse the roof of the building.

Free radicals performance:

Do you know how free radicals cause damage to your skin?

When a molecule is full of energy from sunlight, it exits the stable state and invades the major components of the skin to get back its stability and so leads to the destruction of collagen and elastin in the skin.

How can we prevent the formation of free radicals?

The most important external factor that causes free radicals created is sunlight. Therefore, the first line of defense against harmful sun rays is the use of sunscreen products. Given the position of the sun in the sky, long exposure to the sun's rays, and the person’s skin sensitiveness, sunscreens with different SPFs are used, but they cannot prevent the formation of free radicals alone. Recently, various vitamins are used topically or orally to reduce the damage caused by free radicals. These products are called anti-free-radicals.

What is Collagen?

Collagen is a protein found in the extracellular matrix. Collagen is considered as the most abundant protein in the body. Synthesis of collagen by fibroblasts blast is similar to the production of other proteins.

Collagen is the toughest fiber of connective tissue and it is a difficult process andtakes time to be repaired.Fibroblast is responsible for making amino acid and polypeptide chains and pro-collagen molecule and then it is converted to collagen by an enzyme.

When the amount of collagen in the skin is reduced, the skin goes more quickly in the aging process. The skin begins to lose collagen and thus speeds up the aging process of the skin and increases wrinkles.

The skin has its most freshness between the ages of 30 and 35. Collagen production is produced and refurbished actively in the skin and new collagen is replaced with the old cells. The natural process of aging of the skin is along with reduction in collagen production. In aging process, not only less collagen are produced, but also the quality of the skin decreases. Thus it appears thinner and wrinkles on the skin show up and the skin reduces its protective ability gradually. Also, the skin loses its radiance, softness and moisture.

What are antioxidants?

Antioxidants are substances that prevent the formation of free radicals in the cells. One of the strongest factors of aging is cell damage against the free radicals. Free radicals are substances that are created by the external factors in the skin and they are very active and attack to the cell structure of the body and destroy it. Antioxidants are strong factors and they prevent environmental damages of the skin and slow down the aging process.

Antioxidants will rejuvenate the skin and at the same time reduces the signs of aging. But not all kinds of them can have anti-aging effects. The most important antioxidant that has properties of anti-aging, is vitamin E.

The benefits of vitamin E can be mentioned the following:

  • Vitamin E slows the process of aging and protects cell membrane which have been made of polyunsaturated fatty acids that and are very sensitive to oxidation.
  • Protection against damage caused by UV exposure before the sun exposure can reduce the risk of emerging wrinkles.
  • Vitamin E, strengthening the thin layer of Hydrolipidic, will make the skin resistant and maintains its moisture.
  • Vitamin E stimulates the cells of the blood vessels, increasing the skin and in simple words, it makes the blood under the skin run into the arteries.

What is hyaluronic acid?

This compound is an organic compound called hyaluronic polysaccharide which is also well known as the name of its manufacturer, hyaluronan enzyme. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in the human body as a polysaccharide found in large quantities in the space of the skinand can fill the space between collagen and elastin fibers and produces moisture, strength and tenderness of the skin.

The duties of hyaluronic acid in the skin include:

  • Creating mechanisms of carrying essential nutrients from the bloodstream into the skin cells.
  • Water supply to the skin and body with the mechanism of combining with the water molecules.
  • Protects the skin against mechanical and chemical damage.

In addition to these benefits, hyaluronic acid plays a rolein cell growth, membrane receptor function as well as adhesion. Alsoit causes the stability of viscos elastic structures between cells and creates a network of collagen and elastin fibers to connect to each other. What is occurred in aging due to sun exposure is the loss of these connections that lead to irregular masses of collagen and elastin. In simple words, when you grow older, your skin loses more hyaluronic acid and thus its volume. As a result, the skin will be loose and wrinkles will develop.

The large amounts of hyaluronic acid in the skin of children is the reason of smoothness and transparency of their skin. Unfortunately, the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin reduces significantly as the age increases (usually after age 40).

However, given that we cannot stop the aging process of the skin, so you need to delay the aging process of the skin using of compounds that contain hyaluronic acid.

Prolife creams with new formulations, try to keepsupplying your skin needs for hyaluronic acid and prevent the aging process of the skin.
